The second half of the year is underway, and investor Andrew Graham thinks technology stocks will continue to lead the market higher. Following Thursday's trade, Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust will own 350 shares of NXT with a weighting of about 0.5%. It's the "backbone" of any solar power system, as management would say. It's why we are starting this position on the smaller side, leaving plenty of room to scale over time. If the stock can trade up to 18 times the high end of its full-year earnings guidance, the stock will trade at $55. Prices in the US could keep going up if the US doesn't "reindustrialize" its economy, Richard Bernstein said. The US has a "massive" trade deficit at a time when world trade is becoming fragmented, he noted. AdvertisementInflation will climb higher if the US economy doesn't reindustrialize its economy, according to investment manager Richard Bernstein. World trade has become more fragmented since the pandemic, and rising geopolitical tensions are a sign that the trend is continuing, he said. If it doesn't … we're going to have tremendous inflation here in the United States," Bernstein said to CNBC on Monday.

Eaton and DuPont are both unconventional AI plays, as the data center market grows to meet the demands of the generative AI boom. Wells Fargo Investment Institute last month described rising data center demand as having positive "trickle-down effects" on the industrial sector. WFII wrote that spending from Big Tech firms into data centers, in particular, creates "meaningful downstream impacts" for industrial companies. Amazon Web Services is reportedly investing nearly $150 billion in data centers within the next 15 years to support AI efforts. During a Barclays investor conference in February, CFO Lori Koch said DuPont's data center and AI exposure will help boost the company's electronics business.

The "US industrial renaissance" will be the top investment theme of the coming decade, Richard Bernstein Advisors said. The trend of American companies shifting away from dependence on foreign labor and supply chains should dominate investment strategies in the coming decades the firm said. "The market is already rewarding the beneficiaries of this capital reallocation, but we expect years, if not decades, of further performance from this critical investment theme," RBA president Richard Bernstein said in a note this week. For the US, that means big investment in infrastructure on manufacturing will be needed in the coming years as the world reorients. "The market has already recognized the re-industrialization investment theme despite investors' myopia with respect to more exciting technology-related themes, like artificial intelligence.

Palo Alto Networks , Eli Lilly , and Eaton rallied hard over the past 12 months — up 127%, 117% and 66%, respectively. This $315 level is also close to the 50-day simple moving average (red line). Eli Lilly Two potential entry points: $617 (the 50-day simple moving average) and $541 (the 200-day simple moving average) The 50-day simple moving average is $617, a roughly 16.5% pullback from current levels, while the 200-day simple moving average is $541, a 27% decline. Instead, keep a close eye on that 50-day moving average, looking for that gap between the moving average and the stock price to narrow. As we can see, $242 represents the current 50-day moving average, with $240 representing a level of resistance shares recently surpassed.

Solar power is on a path to double every two to three years amid an "unprecedented period of demand growth" for new electricity generation, the CEO of Nextracker told CNBC. "Solar is unstoppable," Nextracker founder and CEO Dan Shugar said in an interview after the company's latest quarterly report. Nextracker manufactures systems for solar panels to track the direction of the sun. While the solar industry is fighting to emerge from the doldrums, Nextracker is significantly outperforming the sector. The company also raised its net income guidance for the year to $374 million to $429 million, compared to $237 million to $266 million previously.

Of the 18% that have actually started construction, Eaton has seen a strong win rate of approximately 40% for its electrical equipment. Electrical Americas achieved all-time record sales, profit, and margins with broad base growth in nearly all its end markets. Electrical Global also achieved record sales and profits as organic growth increased 4% year over year, a nice pickup from the flat third quarter. Both book-to-bill ratios are above 1.1, indicating strong growth for the future. By end market, Eaton expects Electricals Americas organic growth of 9% to 11% with operating margins around 26.8% to 27.2%.

Why Honeywell's big acquisition could bolster its stock

Honeywell International is putting cash to work with a big acquisition in the security space. The all-cash deal is Honeywell's largest acquisition in eight years, and one that should bolster its struggling building technologies division . By acquiring Carrier's Global Access Solutions unit — which manufactures products like electronic locks, video monitoring apps and fire alarms — Honeywell is setting itself up to benefit from growing demand for safety and access solutions. "You will never see a roll back in safety and security," Jim said during an interview with Honeywell CEO Vimal Kapur on Friday. A host of new data centers, drug manufacturing plants and semiconductor fabrication plants will require digital access solutions and robust security options.

Following Monday's trade, Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust will no longer own a position in Emerson Electric. Even with the market overbought all last week, the S & P 500 squeezed out a gain of nearly 1% — its fifth straight weekly advance. For reference, any reading of 4% or more means the market is technically overbought (a reading of less than minus 4% means oversold). To help figure out the market's pulse, we like to refer to the Oscillator as our guidepost for buying or selling stocks. Whenever the market is overbought to this degree, our discipline is to look at areas to raise extra cash.

We are shifting our industrial exposure Tuesday afternoon by selling Emerson Electric on its slight gain and buying Eaton on today's dip. Historically when the market is overbought, we are hesitant about putting new money to work because an overbought market suggests the market has run up too far too fast and needs to digest gains. But selling one stock to buy another else keeps us cash neutral. We realize a loss of about 8% on Emerson stock purchased in December 2022. Jim waits 45 minutes after sending a trade alert before buying or selling a stock in his charitable trust's portfolio.

Following the trade, Jim Cramer's Charitable Trust will own 65 shares, representing about 0.50% of the portfolio. These multiyear themes are driving investment in the company's key markets, which are Commercial Buildings, Data Centers, Industrial, Residential Buildings, Utility, Aerospace, e-mobility, and Legacy Vehicle. By the way, artificial intelligence should be an additional tailwind to Eaton's Data Center business. AI data centers require both higher power and higher power density relative to traditional data centers, resulting in three times the electric content. One more theme benefitting Eaton's Data Center business is the need to generate electricity in a clean and sustainable way.
