WASHINGTON — The administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Deanne Criswell, is set to face questions from House lawmakers on Tuesday about the federal government's response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton that caused catastrophic damage in the Southeast. “And FEMA leadership didn’t take action against this supervisor until the press exposed this discrimination," his remarks say. Both stocks benefit from the trading of other, non-bitcoin assets across the crypto market. Bitcoin moved higher Tuesday even as other risk assets sold off amid rising geopolitical tensions between Ukraine and Russia. That drove bitcoin to fresh records and sent smaller crypto assets soaring. Like gold, crypto assets are seen by many investors as a "non-confiscatable," long-term hedge against geopolitical uncertainty.
