All three of this year’s most punctual airlines are members of the SkyTeam alliance: Aeromexico, Saudia, and Delta Air Lines, in that order. In Latin America, Colombia-based Copa was the most punctual airline, winning that honor for the second year in a row. Riyadh King Khalid International Airport (RUH) took top honors in the large airport category as well as the overall title. For medium-size airports, the top three were Panama Tocumen International Airport (PTY), Osaka Itami International Airport (ITM) and Brasilia International Airport (BSB). In the small airport category, the most punctual ones were Guayaquil Jose Joaquin de Olmedo Intl Airport (GYE), Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) and El Salvador International Airport (SAL).

Student debt forgiveness is coming faster than expected for some borrowers who have been chipping away at their loans. A key feature of President Joe Biden's new student-loan repayment plan is shortening the forgiveness timeline for some borrowers, particularly those with lower borrowing amounts. "I am proud that my administration is implementing one of the most impactful provisions of the SAVE plan nearly six months ahead of schedule," Biden said in a statement. "Starting next month, borrowers enrolled in SAVE who took out less than $12,000 in loans and have been in repayment for 10 years will get their remaining student debt cancelled immediately." He added: "We don't want to go back to the days when a million people defaulted on their student loans every year.

South Dakota regulators on Wednesday denied a construction permit for a carbon dioxide pipeline project, one month after a North Dakota panel did the same to a similar project by another company. The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission voted unanimously to deny Navigator's application for its Heartland Greenway pipeline. The proposed South Dakota route encompassed 112 miles (180 kilometers) and would serve three ethanol plants. Other states continue to weigh Summit's project, which would encompass a 2,000-mile network from 30-some ethanol plants throughout Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota to an underground storage site in North Dakota. Summit this week withdrew its applications to Oliver County for two permits related to construction of injection wells for its underground CO2 storage site in central North Dakota.

Rome CNN —A 37-year-old banker from Turin is being hailed a hero after miraculously catching an Italian toddler who fell from her family’s fifth floor balcony on Saturday. “I heard a man scream when he saw the little girl leaning out on the ledge. The little girl kept leaning more and more and climbed over the ledge, she held on only with two arms and her legs were in the air,” Aguzzi said. “The story of a little girl who fell from a fith floor balcony in a building in Turin could have turned into tragedy. Much honor and gratitude to this young hero,” she wrote on X on Sunday.

To the Editor:Re “Your Email Does Not Constitute My Emergency,” by Adam Grant (Opinion guest essay, April 15):Thank you, Mr. Grant, for lifting a huge weight off my conscience. Though I am long retired, I find that my inbox is still filled with communications of varying urgency, more than I can possibly answer immediately, if ever. When I finally did answer, with an apology, she made it clear that she regarded promptness as politeness, and that her priorities took precedence over mine. Mr. Grant’s words about women feeling guilty for nonresponsiveness were a balm to my heart. I will try to practice Mr. Grant’s suggestions about communicating digital boundaries and resetting norms, which I’ve always implied when I write to others, but never articulated until now.
