My family of six spent $2,677 for a day at Disneyland and $1,990 for a day at Universal Studios. AdvertisementBoth parks provide great entertainment, but Universal has one show Disney can't compete with"WaterWorld" blew our family away. Our Universal line-skipping passes had a steeper price tag at $600 compared to the $180 we paid for Disney's equivalent service. Even so, our Universal tickets still cost about $200 less than the Disney ones. It should put a damper on just how much we should expect the next president to accomplish, especially if the divide is between the House and the White House. There’s a big difference in just how divided government becomes, depending on whether the House and the White House are controlled by the same party or different parties. Two words send chills down the spine of any presidents who find the “other” party in control of the House: subpoena power. Both Trump and Joe Biden saw the second halves of their terms (after they lost control of the House) essentially paralyzed by an oppositional House. First, because California House races will determine overall House control, it could take as much as two or three weeks before we know the makeup of Congress in 2025 for sure.

Goldman Sachs recently screened for stocks that offer solid dividend yield as well as dividend growth, both of which can be covered by the company's earnings or free cash flow. All the names had to also be rated a buy at Goldman and have an estimated dividend yield of 2% or more in 2025. It has an estimated 2025 dividend yield of 4.6%, analyst Deep Mehta said. Its estimated CAGR in dividend-per-share between 2024 and 2026 stands at 19% and its estimated dividend yield in 2025 is 2.9%. In the oil patch, integrated producer Chevron is expected to nab a dividend yield of 4.9% next year.

While it was an asset to Biden in polling against Trump, it appears to be a much bigger advantage for Harris. And in this new NBC poll, Harris’ advantage was just under 20 points. It’s obvious at this point that Trump will win men by close to double digits, ditto with Harris among women. The cost was reasonable, too, with tickets to many events starting at about 25 euros ($27). Once the Games began and we attended our first few events, I realized it would've been quite easy to wait until the Olympics started to nab tickets instead. One day, I had the option to purchase quarter-final handball tickets for 24 euros or tickets to the men's boxing semi-finals for 305 euros. I didn't buy them, but I was surprised to find that the Olympics could be a show-up-and-go event if you're flexible enough.
