London CNN —Milan’s Via Monte Napoleone has beat out New York’s Fifth Avenue to become the world’s most expensive shopping street, marking the first time a European city has topped the rankings. A new brick-and-mortar store from the e-commerce startup Outlandish is bringing to life the world of TikTok Shop. In addition to TikTok Shop, Outlandish has experience working with brands to help them sell on Douyin and other social apps. Other TikTok Shop sellers have experimented with adding livestreaming spaces to their storefronts, such as the New York-based pre-owned luxury store What Goes Around Comes Around. Outlandish, which began in 2018 as a social shopping agency in China, is an official TikTok Shop partner. If that does happen, August said Outlandish's Santa Monica sellers could pivot to livestreaming on other platforms.

Walmart highlighted growth in its e-commerce segment and advertising business as factors that contributed to its success. But to Cramer, the main reason Walmart's quarter impressed Wall Street is its affordable merchandise and price reductions. Walmart and peer retailers that focus on value — like Amazon and Costco — are what consumers want right now, and these retailers are some of the only ones that can afford large price rollbacks, he added. "There's something going on underneath, something that's hurting every department store, every dollar store, every mall store," Cramer said.

The latest appeared in Philadelphia’s Maja Park Wednesday morning, where someone positioned a roughly eight-foot statue of Donald Trump directly behind a sculpture of a nude woman. CNN —Two political statues have mysteriously popped up in Washington, DC, drawing crowds of onlookers, just a week before Election Day. On Monday, a bronze statue of a tiki torch appeared in Freedom Plaza, just a couple of blocks from the White House. A tiki torch statue called “The Donald J.
