CNN —Sean “Diddy” Combs is expected Wednesday afternoon to appeal a federal judge’s decision to hold the hip-hop artist and music mogul without bail after he pleaded not guilty in federal court to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution Tuesday. In court, prosecutors argued the music mogul should not be released because he had previously reached out to witnesses and victims. The judge told Combs there were no conditions she could find to assure her that he would appear in court if released. Combs’ lawyer Marc Agnifilo told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Tuesday night that Combs will likely not take a plea deal. CNN —Following a recent on-stage altercation between Jane’s Addiction band members Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro, the rock band has announced the cancellation of their remaining tour dates. On Monday, the band announced in a statement posted to their Instagram page that they’ve “made the difficult decision to take some time away as a group,” therefore canceling the remaining dates of their tour. We hope that he will find the help he needs,” the statement read. Farrell appeared to yell at Navarro, then approach him and hit him before other band members and crew intervened. Jane’s Addiction were set to resume their tour in Toronto on Wednesday after they previously canceled Sunday’s concert in Connecticut due to the scuffle.

An Arkansas police officer who was caught on video beating a handcuffed inmate in the back of a patrol car has been fired and his case has been referred to prosecutors, the police chief said.
