Brussels, Belgium CNN —A Belgian man was acquitted of drunk driving on Monday because he suffers from auto-brewery syndrome (ABS), a rare condition whereby the body produces alcohol, his lawyer said. Anse Ghesquiere told Reuters that in “another unfortunate coincidence” her client works at a brewery, but three doctors who independently examined him confirmed he suffered from ABS. The Bruges police court, which acquitted the man, did not immediately reply to an email from Reuters. Lisa Florin, clinical biologist with Belgian hospital AZ Sint-Lucas, explained that people with the condition produce the same type of alcohol as the one in alcoholic drinks but that they generally feel less of its effects. She added that people are not born with ABS but can get it when they already suffer from another intestine-related condition.

Veste frumoasă pentru moldoveni. 100.620 de doze de vaccin Pfizer vor fi donate Republicii Moldova de către România. Declarația a fost făcută de către premierul României, Florin Cîţu, după ședința Guvernului României. Amintim că până acum România a livrat în Republica Moldova în mai multe tranşe 405 600 de doze de vaccin.

România va dona Republicii Moldova 100 de mii de doze de vaccin PfizerRomânia va acorda Republicii Moldova un ajutor umanitar de 100 620 de doze de vaccin Pfizer/BioNTech împotriva COVID-19, achiziționate de Ministerul Sănătății din România. O hotărâre în acest sens a fost luată în ședința de astăzi a Guvernului României, transmite IPN. Într-o reacție după anunț, președintele Maia Sandu a remarcat că ajutorul vine ca urmare a discuției pe care a avut-o, acum câteva săptămâni, cu prim-ministrul Florin Cîțu. Șefa statului a mulțumit autorităților de la București pentru receptivitate și pentru faptul că, de fiecare dată, au răspuns rapid și prin acțiuni concrete la solicitările de a ajuta Republica Moldova și oamenii din țară. Cantitatea totală de vaccin pe care a oferit-o România, Republicii Moldova, în ultimele luni, depășește cifra de 500 de mii de doze.

Baciu a menționat că România este alături de Republica Moldova și va oferi tot suportul necesar în combaterea pandemiei. Astfel, în următoarele zile, România va dona un nou lot de vaccin pentru a susține continuitatea procesului de vaccinare. „O veste foarte bună ne-a venit de la București: în urma discuției pe care am avut-o, acum câteva săptămâni, cu Prim-ministrul Florin Cîțu, Guvernul României a decis să mai doneze Republicii Moldova un lot de vaccin împotriva Covid-19. Astfel, cantitatea totală de vaccin, pe care a oferit-o România țării noastre în ultimele luni, depășește cifră de 500 de mii de doze. Declarația Alexandrei Can, Mircea Rusu și Mihai SeverovanNoi, Alexandra Can, Mircea Rusu și Mihai Severovan în nume personal, dar și a mai multor colegi de ai noștri am decis să susținem Platforma Demnitate și Adevăr la alegerile din 11 iulie 2021 pentru că un Guvern Platforma DA şi PAS rezultat după alegerile parlamentare din 11 iulie este singura opțiune sănătoasă, proeuropeană, pentru Moldova. Pe 11 iulie, votăm Platforma Demnitate și Adevăr pentru că anume ei sunt oamenii faptelor mari și ai faptelor bune. Tot așa, după alegeri, se vom regăsi și PAS și Platforma DA în Parlament și împreună vor putea da Moldovei cel mai bun Guvern din ultimii 30 de ani. Înfăptuirea acestui proiect necesită o majoritate parlamentară și un guvern cu aspirații pro europene și pro românești, capabile să negocieze și să ratifice în parlament Acordul interstatal de fraternitate și de parteneriat european privilegiat între Republica Moldova și România. Comisia moldo-română, formată dintr-un număr egal de reprezentanți ai Guvernelor României şi Republicii Moldova, va avea, în sfera sa de coordonare, executarea Bugetului comun, politicile de integrare social-economică și cultural-spirituală a Republicii Moldova și României, apropierii multidimensionale a Republicii Moldova de Uniunea Europeană prin intermediul suportului României.
