CNN —Celine Dion is set to make her return to the stage at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris. Dion will close the ceremony on Friday with a performance from the first stage of the Eiffel Tower, singing a timeless classic, Edith Piaf’s “L’Hymne à l’amour”. Dion, 56, announced in December 2022 that she was taking time off from professional commitments to focus on her health after revealing her diagnosis. Lady Gaga performs in Paris, France, ahead of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics on Friday. In her documentary, Dion said she was determined to make her return to performing.

CNN —What should a comedian do when a baby cradled in its mother’s arms starts making noises in the middle of a set? American comedian Arj Barker was faced with that awkward situation during a show in Australia on Saturday night at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Barker has repeatedly defended his decision to ask Trish Faranda and her baby, Clara, to leave the event, which specified a minimum age of 15 for attendees. “All I could see was a woman likely holding a baby – the breastfeeding was never part of it. A witness who spoke with Nine News said a few people in the crowd heckled the mother to leave.

When the homeowners—executives based in Austin, Texas—bought their 10,000-square-foot Wolcott, Colo., home in 2020, it was special in more ways than one. The husband—an investor who works in construction—had grown up in Chicago, and still had friends and family there. Now, as an adult, Wolcott, situated around 116 miles west of Denver, served as the perfect halfway point between Illinois and Texas for him and his wife, an executive at a commercial real estate and property management group, to host friends, family and clients. To help them transform the home into an entertainer’s paradise, they reached out to interior designer Meredith Owen, who previously worked on their Austin home.
