A New Jersey school district faces legal action from three separate lawsuits filed this year, following the firing of its openly gay school superintendent. In a lawsuit filed in May, John Berenato, the former superintendent of the Manchester Township School District, accused the district of sexual orientation discrimination that led to his firing in November of last year. According to court documents, Antonucci was with Berenato when he received “disgusting derogatory texts regarding sexual acts” from district board members. Burns, an out lesbian, was the only LGBTQ district administrator as of February, according to court documents. Manchester Township School District serves about 2,900 students from pre-kindergarten through high school in Ocean County.

Outrage has followed the release of a video from a Halloween parade in Pennsylvania that seemed to depict Vice President Kamala Harris tied to a golf cart carrying a man wearing a mask of former President Donald Trump. The float moved along a main street in Mount Pleasant, a town of about 4,000 people located 45 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. A video appeared to show a woman dressed as Harris with her hands tied at the Halloween parade Wednesday. The fire department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from NBC News or share who did the float belong to. The fire department said on Facebook that it has “traditionally only provided safety & traffic control” during the parade.

The largest single-contributor donations went to MAGA Inc., the super PAC backing Trump, with Wisconsin roofing billionaire Diane Hendricks, a prolific GOP megadonor, giving $10 million to the group. On the Democratic side, tech entrepreneurs were the biggest donors to FF PAC, also known as Future Forward, a super PAC backing Harris’ presidential bid. Moskovitz donated $3 million to FF PAC, while Hastings, Jeff Lawson and Erica Lawson each gave $1 million. Super PACs like FF PAC and MAGA Inc. are havens for prolific political megadonors like Hendricks, Lutnick and Hastings because, unlike campaigns and their affiliated committees, super PACs don’t have limits on how much individuals can donate. The Harris campaign also dramatically outspent the Trump campaign in August, burning through about $174 million. By comparison, Trump’s campaign spent just $61 million last month, with the lion’s share – more than $47 million – going toward media buys. The Trump and Harris campaigns are aligned with an array of committees that file disclosure reports on a separate schedule. The Trump campaign, as CNN has previously reported, has opted to outsource much of its ground game operation to outside organizations. The super PAC spent more than $77 million in August, including nearly $62 million on independent expenditures to benefit the vice president’s campaign.

Target did confirm that the majority of the Target Circle deals are automatically applied at checkout. It is worth noting that the program sometimes offers Target Circle rewards, which shoppers can apply toward future purchases. However, unlike the previous cash-back earnings, Target Circle rewards are only given after select Target Circle bonuses are activated and redeemed. In my opinion, the solution could be as simple as restoring the beloved cash-back reward for Target Circle members.
