Another auction for all of Buy Buy Baby's assets, including its many stores, will be held July 7, the records say. If Bed Bath & Beyond receives a higher bid at the upcoming auction, it could lose the rights to Buy Buy Baby's intellectual property. Interest has centered around Buy Buy Baby, long considered the most valuable part of Bed Bath & Beyond's business.

Overstock already has a new Bed Bath & Beyond website in Canada, and it plans to go live with a U.S. website in August. Once a storied retailer, Bed Bath & Beyond filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April after struggling for years with dwindling sales and a failed merchandising strategy.
