President-elect Donald Trump was wavering in recent days between two candidates to replace FBI Director Christopher Wray: Kash Patel and Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, sources told CNN. Trump interviewed both Bailey and Patel at his Mar-a-Lago home earlier this month, and regularly talked to them by phone as he weighed his decision. “It came down to a matter of what Trump wants and what he was looking for in terms of an FBI director. And Bailey didn’t fit that mold, he didn’t have the personality,” one Trump adviser involved in the conversations told CNN. As of late last week, some close to Trump believed it was a “toss up” between Patel and Bailey as to who the president-elect would pick, according to a source familiar with the discussions.

The stowaway who boarded a flight in New York and made it all the way to Paris on Tuesday was removed from her return flight to the U.S. after she caused a disturbance, a source said Sunday. A source with knowledge of the situation said the woman "created a disturbance" as the Delta flight was set to return to New York. Delta confirmed there was a delay on Flight 265 from Paris to New York on Saturday due to an unruly passenger. She completed a full security screening before she boarded Delta Flight 264 from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport on Tuesday. Law enforcement officers removed her from the plane when it landed in Paris, a source with knowledge of the incident said Wednesday.
