Tim Walz in Sen. JD Vance’s final vice presidential debate rehearsals, a source directly involved with the preparations told NBC News. Former President Donald Trump’s campaign, including key members of Vance’s team, has been honing his debate strategy for more than a month, the source said. Jason Miller, a senior Trump campaign adviser, and Vance’s wife, Usha, have been involved in the sessions, the source said, along with Vance’s closest political advisers. The choice of Emmer as a stand-in for Walz provides the Vance team with another Minnesotan and someone who, like Vance and Walz, has deep Midwest roots. “The main focus has been familiarizing [Vance] with Walz’s debate style and policy positions,” said the source involved with the preparations.

Ms. Harris told The Washington Post in 2019 that she had long been comfortable with her racial identity. Ms. Harris joined Alpha Kappa Alpha, a sorority for Black women, at Howard University, a historically Black university. Ms. Harris failed California’s bar exam on her first attempt in July 1989, according to her autobiography, and received a letter in November that she had failed, “to my utter devastation.” While she did not address her subsequent exams in the book, Ms. Harris was admitted to the bar in June 1990. Rachel Whitney, head of editorial for the Nashville team, said playlists outside of the country genre are playing Knowles' country tracks, broadening its reach. In fact, I grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, a red state surrounded, by very religious people — many Southern Baptist. Many of us, however, were desperate to move out for better job opportunities and to grow our careers. The more populous places, like the capital Little Rock, are seen as a lot more diverse. There are typically better job opportunities there too, but those opportunities were very limited for me. It worked out, though, because moving to San Diego proved more cost-effective than the Bay Area.
