A poll released last week from AAPI Data, a data analytics firm that focuses on Asian Americans, found that 66% of Asian American voters plan to support Harris and 28% intend to back Trump. The same survey found that 62% of Asian American voters say they have a favorable opinion of Harris, compared with 35% who hold an unfavorable view. Republican officials declined to elaborate on efforts to win over Asian American voters. The Harris campaign has three full-time staffers at the national headquarters dedicated to engaging Asian American voters, a spokeswoman said, with additional staff being deployed to Georgia and other battleground states. As she presided over a virtual phone bank from her kitchen one night last week, she said she believed Asian American voters could make the difference in her Southern battleground state.

Atlanta police on Tuesday continued to search for two robbers captured on video dropping into a check cashing store from the ceiling and grabbing stacks of cash from a safe. The images appear to be taken from the security video. The department also released some of that morning's video, captured from inside the store as its ceiling was breached and including the robbers' exit. A robber falls through the ceiling of a check cashing business in southwest Atlanta on Sept. 3. They fled out the rear portal, and video captured a woman walking by just after the door was opened.

A Delta aircraft clipped the tail of another plane Tuesday morning at an Atlanta airport. Video taken at the airport appears to show the Endeavor plane with its tail hanging off the side of the aircraft. There are no reports of injuries and maintenance crews are evaluating for damage, Delta Air Lines said. The Delta flight was headed to Tokyo and the Endeavor Air flight to Lafayette, Louisiana. A group of Amazon delivery drivers hold a labor strike at the DAX7 Amazon Sortation Center in South Gate. Amazon should be considered a "joint employer" of some of its contracted delivery drivers, a regional director for the National Labor Relations Board said Wednesday. Amazon has fought to avoid being designated as a joint employer of its sprawling network of contracted delivery companies. Over the past year, the Teamsters has stepped up its efforts to organize Amazon delivery and warehouse workers. Since then, it's led a number of strikes at Amazon delivery facilities, while a labor group at an Amazon warehouse on New York's Staten Island opted to affiliate with the Teamsters in June.
