As a kid, our daughter was about as easy to deal with as it is possible for a kid to be. And, of course, many parents of trans kids feel that their children have, well, transformed. AdvertisementPublic discussions of trans kids often tend to focus on how they're different from cisgender kids, and on how parents face different challenges in supporting them. And trans kids are different from cis kids in some ways. We like her girlfriend, who is more willing to chat with us than our daughter, perhaps because we're not her parents.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban arrived in Ukraine on Tuesday for his first wartime visit to the battle-torn country. Orban, meanwhile, communicated Hungary's intentions to improve ties with Ukraine and sign a broad bilateral cooperation agreement, while urging Zelenskyy to consider a quick cease-fire to accelerate peace talks, Reuters reported. Orban absented from last month's Ukraine Peace Summit in Switzerland, where Hungary was instead represented by Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto. The Hungarian prime minister has also been one of the few Western leaders to meet the increasingly isolated Kremlin leader Putin since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

This will be the first time that substantive arguments will be made in court about the four criminal cases brought against Trump this year. While he may still face an uphill battle to move his case, Meadows is “uniquely situated” in Willis’ case, said Steve Vladeck, a CNN analyst and professor at the University of Texas School of Law. The orders the judge has already issued have hewed tightly to the relevant statutes and case law, and he has moved the proceedings along efficiently. According to the grand jury indictment, Meadows arranged a call between Trump and Watson, and texted Watson himself to offer Trump campaign funding toward speeding up a ballot review in Fulton County.
