One day at the gym, she stumbled upon a group of people using the pool. They were running in place and pivoting in chest-deep water, and the instructor sounded more like a drill sergeant than a water aerobics teacher. Ms. López began taking water exercise classes and found that running in deep water helped her develop more upper body strength than running on land. Starting Jan. 9, 2024, visitors who buy a dated ticket to Walt Disney World won’t also have to make a reservation to one of its four theme parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The company has been requiring ticket holders to make reservations since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic as a way to control crowds.

The rollout of long-awaited Alzheimer’s treatments looks set to start as a case of the haves and the have-nots. Clinics and academic hospitals in large cities are recruiting neurologists and buying screening equipment on a bet that Biogen and Eisai’s drug Leqembi will win full approval this summer and draw a flood of new patients. Eli Lilly’s treatment donanemab could also be up for approval this year or next and could draw even more patients seeking care.

The lawsuit, expected in a central Florida court, would mark the latest salvo in the escalating battle between the company and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis .

More parents are moving in with their young adult children, and they are doing it while they are younger, healthier and often still working. One in four Americans aged 25 to 34 lived with parents or older relatives as of 2021, the fastest-growing segment in multigenerational households, according to data from Pew Research Center. Most of this group is adult children moving back in with their parents, but a significant number of older adults are moving in with millennials, said Richard Fry , a senior researcher at Pew. In 2021, 9% of multigenerational households were headed by a 25- to 34-year-old, up from 6% in 2001.
