Vice President Kamala Harris is campaigning for president against Elon Musk at least as much as she is against former President Donald Trump, Mark Cuban said Monday, as he advocated for the Democratic nominee as the pro-business choice. "It's the Harris campaign versus Elon, not even versus Trump," the billionaire investor and former "Shark Tank" host said on CNBC's "Squawk Box." Cuban's remarks were the latest volley between the two billionaires, who have taken on increasingly prominent campaign roles while ramping up attacks against each other. Asked for his view on the latest polls, which broadly show a neck-and-neck race between Harris and Trump, Cuban said, "Nobody really knows, and so really it comes down to get out the vote." "And the crazy thing is, it's the Harris campaign versus Elon, not even versus Trump," said Cuban.

First, higher interest rates will reward savers, making it more expensive to take risks. And with interest rates so low, companies could suddenly load up on debt: From 2007 to 2017, global nonfinancial corporate debt doubled, to $66 trillion. Now, with the arrival of a new supercycle, money managers are once again being forced to adapt to a changing set of economic realities. Normally, when the Fed hikes interest rates rapidly, the stock market tanks. Rising interest rates will make loans more expensive, forcing businesses to make more-thoughtful decisions about debt.

It isn't an accident that people who want to cancel a subscription often have to navigate a web of bureaucracy and confusion. "Actual affirmative consent from a consumer," Witte said, would establish trust between the consumer and the company, boosting loyalty. Along with litigation from the CFPB, state attorneys general have pursued legal action against big companies over hard-to-cancel subscriptions. Last year, Letitia James, New York's attorney general, sued SiriusXM over claims that the radio company trapped customers in subscriptions and maintained a complicated and burdensome cancellation process. Donald Trump on Friday dismissed more questions about whether he would release his current medical records, doubling down on refusing to provide a health update even as Kamala Harris works to sow doubts about his fitness for the presidency. The 78-year-old Republican nominee, when asked if he will release his health records, suggested that he has already shared enough information about his medical status. "Yeah, my health records – I've done five exams over the last four years. Trump told CBS News in August that he would "very gladly" release his medical records, but his campaign has not done so. Netflix is rolling in cash. What a turnaround!

Netflix makes money. Netflix is actually bringing in so much money that it is turning a profit, while its competitors struggle to break even. And Netflix financed all that cash incineration by taking on many billions of dollars in debt. In 2019, Netflix had negative cash flow of $3.3 billion. That doesn't mean Netflix is going to go hog-wild on spending now that its thesis has been borne out.

CNBC's Jim Cramer on Thursday gave investors his stamp of approval to buy some shares of Nike , but he warned that such an investment is tricky. "You've got my blessing to put on a small position — only small — because if Nike really can turn itself around, the stock will take off long before the financials do," he said. "You need to get ahead of that, but it's a risky call, so I suggest building your position gradually over time." Nike is also somewhat hostage to the consumer environment in the U.S. and abroad Cramer said. And while he admitted he'd like more definitive proof of a Nike turnaround, Cramer noted that by the time that happens, it may be too late to get in to the stock.

At 11, my kid came out as nonbinary and changed her name and pronouns. I immediately accepted my kid's new name but accidentally deadnamed her on a trip. Saundrah and Annika went to get bubble tea, so I asked my kid if she wanted to go, too. When she didn't react to me deadnaming her on our trip, I realized she had made peace with the transition. I'd like to think this shift happened in part because she's been 100% supported in her gender journey.
