One startup wants to help consumers be more mindful about their alcohol consumption — and it just raised $11.5 million in venture-capital funding.
The startup, Sunnyside, announced that it raised a Series A funding round led by Motley Fool Ventures.
Sunnyside's founder Nick Allen launched the startup in San Francisco in 2020, initially calling it Cutback Coach.
Sunnyside offers a mobile app that encourages "mindful drinking" practices via weekly goal setting, text reminders, an online community, and one-on-one coaching.
