With a population of roughly 25,000, it is the county seat and third largest city in Cumberland County, a vast area of farmland and green space along the Delaware Bay.
There were 15 murders in 2023, and 15 so far in 2024, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
In Cumberland County, it’s known as the Professional Standards Unit.
Investigators from the neighboring Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office are handling the investigation since Mosley was employed by the prosecutor’s office in Cumberland County.
