On the fourth anniversary of Settle’s death – and driven by a need to mourn – Koenig wrote about his former partner on the Covid-19 remembrance website WhoWeLost.
Greenwald expanded the website nationally after a 2021 story on the website from an NPR affiliate garnered widespread praise.
