The chief financial officer of Trump Media and two other corporate insiders sold more than $16 million worth of company stock in the week following the presidential election, according to new disclosures. The sale disposed of all of Swider’s Trump Media shares, the filing indicated. Swider controls a company, Renatus Advisors, that still owns 18,043 shares of Trump Media. Glabe, who is also the company’s secretary, still owns 336,576 restricted stock units in Trump Media after that sale. A Trump Media spokeswoman did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment on the stock sales.

Nvidia is increasing employee compensation with a stock grant named after CEO Jensen Huang. The "Jensen special grant" awards an additional 25% of the initial stock grant given to employees. The one-off grant is an extra 25% of the initial amount of stock units given to employees when they joined. Walmart, the nation’s largest private employer, is raising salaries and benefits for store managers as it looks for ways to retain them. Walmart said on Monday that managers of its U.S. stores would be eligible for grants of up to $20,000 in company stock every year. The announcement came a few weeks after Walmart said it would increase the average salary for store managers to $128,000, up from $117,000. The big-box retailer also said bonuses for store managers could reach up to 200 percent of base salary, with a store’s profitability becoming a bigger factor in the calculation. Store managers are crucial in driving sales and profitability within their stores and keeping morale high in a dynamic business.

Walmart said it hasn't made any changes to store managers' pay structure in more than a decade. U.S. managers of the sprawling supercenters, which run about 180,000 square feet, will receive $20,000 in stock grants. Walmart said the stock grants will vest over a three-year period, with ownership for one-twelfth of the grant total coming every quarter. The new starting annual base salary for U.S. store managers will range from $90,000 to $170,000. That means that the average base pay for store leaders will go to $128,000 from $117,000, according to Cedric Clark, executive vice president of store operations at Walmart’s U.S. division.

Just nine months after closing its deal to acquire One Medical, Amazon is exerting more control over the primary care provider's employee pay. Prior to the Amazon acquisition, One Medical gave stock grants without baking in any growth assumptions. Like One Medical, Amazon reinforces this through its competitive total compensation program which, for corporate employees, typically includes base pay and restricted stock units (RSUs). As One Medical is now part of Amazon and can no longer grant employees One Medical stock, we are transitioning employees to Amazon's stock-based compensation model. Amazon's pay policy has long been a source of frustration for many employees.
