The massacre scene at the end of "House of the Dragon" episode seven may be brutal to watch, but a cinematographer told Business Insider that it was "unpleasant" to film, too. The "scary part" was that the crew didn't have much time to shoot such a crucial scene, Černjul added. Ulf White's dragon scene was filmed on the same bluescreen stageUlf the White (Tom Bennett) was introduced in "House of the Dragon" season two. The authorities in England were hunting on Wednesday for a man who was suspected of killing three women the previous night with a crossbow and possibly other weapons in a small, leafy town north of London, according to Hertfordshire Police. The police said they arrived at the scene just before 7 p.m. local time on Tuesday and found three women with serious injuries. The BBC reported that the victims were the wife and two daughters of one of its horse-racing commentators. “As we’ve just reported, the three women killed in a crossbow attack in Bushey, near Watford, are Carol Hunt, the wife of the BBC commentator John Hunt, and two of their daughters,” the broadcaster wrote. The police were searching for Kyle Clifford, 26, they said, warning people that “he may be in possession of a crossbow, do not approach.” It was not immediately clear on Wednesday what the relation was between Mr. Clifford and the three women.

The ruling came on the final day of the Supreme Court's term that began in October. At issue in the case was whether Corner Post was too late when it brought its legal challenge. A group of small business associations had filed a brief urging the Supreme Court to maintain a strict statute of limitations that begins at the time a regulation is finalized. The Supreme Court in 2015 left in place a lower court's ruling backing the regulation. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld Traynor's decision, setting up the Supreme Court appeal.

The case on time limits, Corner Post v. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, No. 22-1008, arose from a challenge to a 2011 regulation of debit-card swipe fees brought by two trade associations in 2021. The amended suit said Corner Post could not have sued within the six-year period after the issuance of the regulation because it did not yet exist. “Has the Justice Department and the agencies considered whether there is any interaction between these two challenges?” Justice Kagan asked. The lawyer, Benjamin W. Snyder, responded, “I want to be careful here.”Then he added that the consequences could be enormous.

CNN —Soccer is set to trial sin bins at the higher levels of the game in a bid to improve player behavior towards match officials – a move that has drawn a mixed response. But while a handful of African countries are poised to ride the demographic wave, others risk being swamped by it. In the West, racists and right-wing nationalists stoke fears of African population growth to justify hatred, or even violence. The age gap between geriatric leaders and restless youth is “a major source of tension” in many African countries, said Simon Mulongo, a former African Union diplomat from Uganda.

Solskjaer has sympathy for under-pressure Ten Hag

LONDON, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he sympathises with current incumbent Erik ten Hag who is under pressure after a poor start to the season. It's a dream job, but it's difficult," Solskjaer said in an interview with The Athletic. "It was a decision that was very difficult to turn down and I felt we had to take it, but it turned out wrong," Solskjaer said. Solskjaer never won a trophy as a coach at United, the closest being the 2021 Europa League final when they lost to Villarreal on penalties. His reign ended after a 4-1 drubbing at Watford nearly two years ago -- a performance Solskjaer said he knew would result in him losing his job.

"But in terms of bringing new customers into a brand, I'm not hearing conversations every week about getting more millennials — it's 'Gen Z, Gen Z, Gen Z.'" London CNN —As a host of Hollywood actors join film and TV writers in a strike against major studios and streaming services, filming and production of some popular shows – including “House of the Dragon” and “Industry” – could continue, due to UK strike laws. A source with knowledge of the productions confirmed to CNN that both are Equity contract shows. Actors are calling for increased pay as well as progress on residuals paid for when films or shows are shown again, particularly on streaming services. They join 11,000 members of the Writers Guild of America, who have been on strike for two months. Production of many movies and television shows has already been shut down by the current writers’ strike, and the actors’ strike threatens to bring most remaining productions to a halt, other than on some independent films not associated with studios.
