A doll on the verge of being thrown away was sold for more than $60,000 at auction earlier this week.
The German antique "Kammer & Reinhardt" doll is from around 1910.
The doll of a small boy is from Germany from about 1910 and is called the "Kammer & Reinhardt Walter 102 bisque antique character."

According to the BBC, the seller told the auction house: "The doll belonged to my grandmother, who passed away 30 years ago.
