That was the voice of Goldman Sachs 2009 — the adamantine firm that managed to make its way through the crisis relatively unscathed.
This sort of dry humor worked back then, but for today's Goldman Sachs, the joke just doesn't hit the same way.

It would be nice to see the old Goldman Sachs ferocity is still out there somewhere, even if it's not on Wall Street.
