In a recent video, he highlighted three cities where prices are still a decent way off their highs despite favorable fundamentals like wage growth and population growth. When it comes to population growth, Austin grew by 2.7% between 2021 and 2022, according to Census Bureau data. The list incorporates cities seeing economic and population growth. Dispatchers told KSL.com the calls are from Apple devices with a new crash-detection feature. Apple's crash-detection technology sends users a message with an alarm sound if it detects a crash. Even with accidental triggering of the technology, the report highlights that dispatchers still view the crash-detection technology as a positive, and recommend people keep it turned on. A growing number of children around the world are vulnerable to measles as vaccination rates have declined to the lowest levels since 2008, global health leaders warned on Wednesday. About 81% of children worldwide received the first dose of the measles vaccine in 2021, down from 86% in 2019 before the Covid pandemic began. This leaves 25 million kids vulnerable to measles, according the report. The measles vaccine comes in two doses, but the first shot is the most important because it's 93% effective at preventing disease. This can cause outbreaks if vaccination rates are too low in their communities, according to the CDC.
A man who was arrested in a Scottish hospital last year is in fact an American fugitive who faked his own death to avoid rape and sexual assault charges, a court ruled Friday. Nicholas Rossi, 35, has spent over a year trying to convince authorities that he is Arthur Knight, an orphan from Ireland who has never been to the U.S. “In 2018 the DNA profile from the Utah sexual assault came back as a match to a sexual assault case in Ohio,” Leavitt said in a statement in January. An Interpol red notice, with pictures of the wanted man, including images of his tattoos and fingerprints, helped officers from Police Scotland identify him. Leavitt admitted in January that Rossi would still probably be living “off the grid” had he not contracted Covid and required medical care.
