CNN —Apparently not satisfied with becoming one of the dominant forces in the WNBA, 2024 Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark is set to compete in a Pro-Am golf event in November. The Indiana Fever superstar will appear at The Annika, the penultimate tournament on the LPGA Tour hosted by golf legend Annika Sörenstam from November 11-17. As well as playing in the Pro-Am event on November 13, Clark will also feature as a panelist at the Women’s Leadership Summit the day before as part of the event in Florida. The rookie has just completed a historic season in the WNBA. “I’m excited to meet Caitlin and for her to join us at Pelican Golf Club in November in what will be an exciting week for women’s sports.”

CNN —Seemingly not content to dominate only the college basketball scene, Caitlin Clark stole the show at a PGA Tour event this week. Three months on, the popularity of Clark – who will be eligible for the WNBA Draft in 2024 – shows no sign of waning. A fellow Iowan, Johnson praised Clark for her “transcendent” basketball talents, but drew particular attention to her character. “I can’t speak highly enough about how she handles herself, whether it’s in interviews or just the way she goes about her work. 2 Jon Rahm has said “a lot” of players on the PGA Tour feel “betrayal” after the shock announcement of its partnership with LIV Golf. The decisions of some players to leave the established PGA Tour and DP World Tour to sign up with LIV Golf last year were met with consternation by many others. Now, with the two sides uniting once again, it opens questions about LIV Golf players’ eligibility for this year’s Ryder Cup which begins in September. Rahm has been a strong advocate of allowing LIV Golf players to be allowed to compete in the biennial tournament. However, players who left to join LIV Golf resigned their DP World Tour membership to do so.
