ISTANBUL, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Turkey sent a plane with a medical team and supplies to Egypt on Sunday carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said.
"Our plane took off to help Gaza.
The presidential plane filled with medicine and medical supplies, carrying 20 specialist doctors, departed from Ankara to Egypt," Koca said in a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
The footage shared by the minister showed boxes marked with their contents being loaded onto a Turkish presidency plane.
It says aid can enter through Egypt provided supplies do not end up in the hands of Hamas.
