BERLIN — President Joe Biden is leaving Washington for Germany on Thursday morning in what will be one of the last opportunities to outline his vision for foreign policy before the election next month. After landing in Berlin, Biden will be greeted with full military honors Friday before receiving the country's highest Order of Merit from President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, his office said. After years of refusing U.S. prodding to trade the Russian, Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris separately convinced Scholz earlier this year. On Wednesday, Biden announced a $425 million aid package for Ukraine that includes air-to-ground munitions and armored vehicles, and promised more defense systems and supplies in the months to come. The White House said Biden will now travel to Angola in early December.

I've loved the Caribbean but I'm more interested in other ports now that I've been on 50+ cruises. Although I still love these ports, they've lost their appeal to me now that I've been on more than 50 cruises. Sailing through the Norwegian fjords is one of my favorite cruise experiences to date — the breathtaking views surrounds the ship in all directions, offering endless photo opportunities. So, no matter the itinerary, I now tend to book lengthier sailings — ideally ones longer than a week. CNN —JetBlue’s economy class passengers will no longer find hot meals on the menu aboard transatlantic flights. Hot meals are still offered to transatlantic passengers flying the airline’s premium Mint class. The airline said the new core menu “lives up to the standard we set for high-quality meals. In the second quarter of 2024, JetBlue reported net income of $25 million. Last year, JetBlue reported an adjusted loss of $151 million, although that was an improvement from the $260 million it lost in 2022.
