Drone sightings have been reported in at least six states: New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Virginia. Republican New Jersey Assemblyman Paul Kanitra told CNN’s Sara Sidner Friday morning there had been drone sightings every night since then. Residents in New York’s Rockland County reported drone sightings starting as early as November. A total of 791,597 drones are registered with the FAA, split almost evenly between commercial drones and recreational drones.
