In conversations with nearly a dozen Democratic lawmakers and candidates running in competitive races across the country, a common theme emerged.

The Republican campaign arm has seized on some of her past positions from his first presidential run, including fracking, as they’ve attempted to develop a strategy to target Democrats in tough races.
