CNN —Ukraine’s electricity supply risks “severe disruptions” this winter, the International Energy Agency (IEA) has warned, urging Kyiv’s allies to help address the country’s energy security. Russia has repeatedly attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure with missiles and drones since its full-scale invasion in February 2022, but its bombardments have intensified recently, leaving the country in a precarious position as colder weather approaches. Ukraine has also attacked Russia’s energy infrastructure. In its report, the agency outlines 10 measures that Ukraine and its allies should implement to tackle risks to the country’s energy supply. She also noted that the EU had contributed at least €2 billion ($2.2 billion) toward Ukraine’s energy system since Russia’s full-scale invasion began.

India's NTPC Green Energy filed draft papers for a 100 billion rupees ($1.19 billion) initial public offering on Wednesday, as it looks to cash in on the country's renewables expansion plans and a red-hot equities market. The company, a unit of state-owned power producer NTPC , will only issue new shares, and existing shareholders will not sell any stake, the draft papers showed. So far this year, about 235 companies have gone public and raised more than $8.6 billion, which exceeds the total amount raised last year.

That’s just another normal working day at Bhutan’s Paro International Airport (PBH), widely considered one of the most technically difficult plane landings in the world. Paro is a category C airport, which means that pilots must have special training to fly there. As the national flag carrier, Druk Air has taken much of the responsibility for pilot training on itself. He believes there are 50 licensed pilots in Bhutan, but that number could easily double in the next few years.
