A possible suspect wearing a Halloween Michael Myers mask was seen in the area of a Harris County, Texas, home where a man was found shot to death, authorities said Friday. That investigation is still open and active, the sheriff’s office said Friday. Authorities spoke with witnesses and viewed security videos from neighboring homes and learned that a possible suspect was seen walking in the area wearing a mask of Michael Myers, the fictional murderer from the "Halloween" movie series. Two children were found unharmed in the home, the sheriff's office said. Witnesses said that someone in the Myers mask walked up to the victim while he was in his garage and started shooting, local news station KHOU reported.

They thrive on it, said John Hackston, head of thought leadership at The Myers-Briggs Company. Be it spouses, best friends or acquaintances, travelers enduring long stretches of time together often struggle to find a middle ground. But the same level of reflection hasn’t happened with extroverts, said Hackston. The problem, said Hackston, is that extroverts often assume others think and feel as they do. Just because you're good friends, it doesn't mean that you'll be good travelers.

If you are willing to stomach significant short-term volatility for the chance at higher returns in the long run, you're generally considered an "aggressive" investor. Generally, aggressive investors hold larger portions of riskier assets, such as stocks, while conservatives prefer the safety and predictability of bonds. You'd think, then, that cryptocurrency, an extremely volatile asset, would be the exclusive territory of aggressive investors. So are young, wealthy investors changing the definitions of what it means to be aggressive or conservative? "We don't have an aggressive, momentum-style market in digital assets that typically attracts aggressive investors."

The psychotherapist's 2020 book, "Polysecure," has become the poly bible for an increasingly queer and fluid generation. As consensual nonmonogamy went mainstream, searches for Fern's "Polysecure" spiked. "I've heard authors joke they get a cup of coffee from their book," Fern said. When Jessica Fern and Dave Cooley opened up their relationship, Cooley was surprised at the "searing anguish" he felt about his wife seeing other men. Fern, Cooley, and Fern's partner bought the property together and settled in, planning to live there long term.

There's a common misconception that introverts have to mimic stereotypically extroverted personalities to succeed: Be outspoken, always raise your hand and command a room. "If you know that you prefer smaller settings, you might not want to apply for a job at a large corporation," Allen says. The most daunting part might be opting out of extrovert-friendly situations without bothering anyone else, Allen says. Allen's advice: Come prepared with clear examples of situations you'd like to avoid, how you'd like to contribute instead and why it'll make you both happier and more productive. DON'T MISS: Want to be smarter and more successful with your money, work & life?
ghSmartThe company's unusual but rigorous approach to screening job candidates has won it the trust of some of the finance industry's most competitive and coveted workplaces, as well as other blue-chip corporations. "That became the kernel for ghSmart," Smart recounted in a podcast interview. That means the ghSmart interview isn't something you can necessarily prepare for in the same way you might, for example, read up on certain stocks or industry trends. The company's team of psychologists spends hours drilling into each candidate's job and life experiences. Unlike some executive-search firms, ghSmart disconnects its fee from whether it fills the role.
People are often shocked when I tell them I'm an introvert, especially since my job involves a lot of socializing and relationship building. There are many misconceptions about introverts: We're shy, we don't like to socialize, we don't take risks. Here are three things I always do to look and feel more confident:1. When I feel less confident, I turn to my "praise folder" that I created on my iPhone. At networking events, I remind myself that I don't have to talk with everyone in the room.
Even if you haven't taken the Enneagram test yourself, you may have been roped into a conversation about it. The Enneagram is 'focused on internal emotions rather than external behaviors'Unlike other personality tests, the Enneagram has an unlikely foothold in disparate communities. Howe, who lives in Pasadena, California, grew up taking the Myers-Briggs Test and other personality tests, but said the Enneagram is different. She first heard of the Enneagram test from a friend but didn't take it seriously until she read "The Road Back to You." Like astronomy or other typologies, every Enneagram test result is positive.
