CNN —Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said that he does not regret his tackle attempt in his team’s 23-15 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, despite his history of head injuries. During the second quarter of the Monday Night Football matchup, Tagovailoa threw a pass intended for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle that was intercepted by Rams linebacker Christian Rozeboom. Arizona voters on Tuesday approved an amendment enshrining abortion rights in the state constitution, NBC News projects. A fundamental right to abortion is part of the Arizona Constitution once and for all. In April, the conservative-leaning Arizona Supreme Court ruled to reinstate a near-total ban on abortion from 1864. Arizona for Abortion Access, the coalition of reproductive rights organizations behind the ballot effort, had shattered the record for the number of valid signatures gathered for a ballot initiative in the state. Constitutional amendments to enshrine abortion rights were on the general election ballots in nine other states Tuesday: Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York and South Dakota.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes said Friday that her office is investigating whether former President Donald Trump’s violent remarks about former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney broke the law. A spokesman for the attorney general's office, Richie Taylor, confirmed to NBC News the office is "looking into" whether Trump's remarks violated Arizona law. NBC News reached out to the Trump campaign for comment. Trump has escalated his violent rhetoric on the campaign trail in the last month. That is the most-watched game in the Fall Classic since Game 7 in 2019 when the Washington Nationals’ victory over the Houston Astros averaged 23.22 million. The series averaged 15.81 million, its best performance since 2017 when Houston’s victory over the Dodgers in seven games averaged 18.93 million. The game had a 21.1 rating and 55 share in Los Angeles and 14.8 rating and 39 share in New York. The share refers to a percentage of the audience viewing it at the time.
