FRANKFURT, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Private equity firm Hg is weighing options, including a sale, for its German software business F24 next year, three sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. Hg is also weighing only selling part of its majority stake in the process, which is likely to target other private equity firms, one of the sources said. Deliberations are at an early stage and sale plans may not materialise if market conditions deteriorate, the sources said. Hg, which has not disclosed the exact size of its stake in F24, declined to comment. Earlier this year, F24 said it would work with telecom operator Telenet to continue to run the Belgian government's BE-Alert warning system for the next six years.

PARIS, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Liberty Global's Telenet (TNET.BR) on Thursday said it was in talks with France's No. 1 telecoms company Orange (ORAN.PA) over a potential network access to Walloon cable operator VOO, which Orange plans to acquire. The companies have reached a memorandum of understanding which will structure further negotiations, Telenet said in a statement. The planned purchase - currently under European Union anti-trust review, a source has said - would give Orange control over the cable network in Belgium's French speaking Walloon region and part of the Brussels area. The announced acquisition of 75% in VOO dealt a blow to Orange Belgium's local rival Telenet, which had not been selected to enter into talks.
Oct 27 (Reuters) - Belgian telecoms company Telenet's (TNET.BR) third-quarter core earnings missed expectations on Thursday, weighed down by the soaring inflation, high energy prices, and tower-related lease payments. The group reported adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation and after leases (EBITDAal) of 312.7 million euros ($314.9 million) for the three months to Sept. 30, up 1% year-on-year, or 4% on a rebased basis. This came below analysts' median estimate of 320.7 million euros in a company-compiled poll. Telenet has been reporting EBITDAal as one of its key metrics since the second quarter of this year to reflect tower-related lease payments following the sale of its mobile tower business to Digital Bridge. Its revenue came in at 660.5 million euros, above analyst expectations of 652.6 million euros.
