Medications filled through Amazon Pharmacy are eligible for discounted pricing and will be delivered to patients' doors in standard Amazon packaging. Analysts at Bank of America downgraded shares of Hims & Hers from buy to underperform on Thursday, citing Amazon's push into hair loss and erectile dysfunction markets. The team sat within Amazon's Grand Challenge, also known as its Special Projects division, the sources said. In October, Amazon told people working on the tracker that it was disbanding the team. Other Grand Challenge projects, including the Amazon Care telehealth service, a video-calling device for kids, a virtual tours service, and an augmented reality headset for meetings, were discontinued. Amazon plans to bring same-day prescription delivery to 20 more cities next year, the company said Wednesday, marking the latest phase of its push into health care. As part of the expansion, which will make speedy medicine delivery available in nearly half of the U.S., Amazon said, it is embedding pharmacies in same-day delivery facilities often clustered around major metro areas. Amazon in March introduced same-day pharmacy delivery in New York and Los Angeles, after launching the service in Indianapolis, Miami, Phoenix, Seattle, and Austin, Texas. Launched in 2020, Amazon Pharmacy was born out of the company's 2018 acquisition of online pharmacy PillPack. It launched then shuttered its telehealth service, Amazon Care, along with a line of health and wellness devices.

Walmart is opening five more pet services centers after testing the first location near Atlanta. The centers offer vet visits and grooming. On Tuesday, the company announced it will open five more pet services centers in October and early November. The pet category has also been a way to reach younger and more affluent shoppers, Shadiow said. Gen Z is the fastest-growing segment for Walmart's pet category, as the group ages into pet ownership, she said.

Constellation Brands — The beverage company rose slightly on the back of better-than-expected fiscal second-quarter earnings. Revenue of $2.92 billion, however, marginally missed expectations. Stellantis — The automaker was down more than 3% in the premarket after a Barclays downgrade to equal weight from overweight.
