Travel intelligence company OAG has released its annual list of the world’s busiest flight routes — and the 105-minute hop between the two has topped the international route board, with nearly 7 million seats on sale in 2024. Dubai featured several times in the list, with Dubai-Riyadh the busiest route in the Middle East. Jeju-Seoul has kept the crown of the world’s busiest domestic route, with 14.2 million seats – nearly 39,000 per day. Analyzing routes per region, Cairo was Africa’s hub, with routes out of the Egyptian capital taking the top five spots for routes leaving the continent. We should look at the forecast.”The world’s busiest flight routes for 2024

Instead of attempting to outsmart the market, Ivo Kovachev rides stocks' momentum. While many fund managers aim to buy beaten-down stocks before they rebound, Kovachev goes against the grain by riding momentum in markets. "We are humble guys — we listen to the market," Kovachev said in a recent interview with Insider. As its name suggests, Kovachev's JOHCM Emerging Markets Discovery Fund sticks to unnoticed stocks in developing international markets. Fortunately for stocks in emerging markets, Kovachev said their interest rates can finally fall as inflation declines alongside oil prices.

GDANSK, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Mediation talks between Polish state-controlled utility Tauron (TPE.WA) and boiler maker Rafako (RFK.WA) regarding a power unit in Jaworzno have failed to reach a conclusion, the pair signalled on Monday. The 910 MW coal-fired unit, built for Tauron by Rafako as part of a consortium in 2020, has undergone several prolonged outages since commissioning and the parties have been arguing for months about the source of the problem. Tauron said in a statement it remained open to negotiations while Rafako said on Twitter it would submit a "last chance" proposal on Tuesday, as both sides blamed each other over the lack of progress in Monday's arbitration talks hosted by Poland' General Counsel. Tauron and Rafako last week filed counterclaims with demands for payment with regard to the Jaworzno construction deal.
