In the end, Djokovic progressed with ease, potentially setting up a thrilling second-round match against Rafael Nadal. CNN —Botswana’s President Mokgweetsi Masisi has threatened to send 20,000 elephants to Germany amid a dispute over the import of hunting trophies. ”Twenty thousand elephants for Germany, this is not a joke,” Masisi told German tabloid Bild. The same year I was born, a seminal work about Black Germans, “Showing Our Colors: Afro-German Women Speak Out,” was published. I think that these are precisely the times when Black community, Black alliances and Black spaces are so important. But Federer missed Spanish phenomenon Alcaraz, the 20-year-old who has taken the tennis world by storm. "I'm really happy with the level that I played, with the performance today," Alcaraz told reporters, although he was not so happy that Federer missed his match. RYBAKINA RECOVERSKazakhstan's Rybakina, the third seed, looked in danger of becoming the first Wimbledon women's defending champion to suffer a first-round exit since Steffi Graf in 1994 when American Rogers took the opening set. Admitting the watching Federer had made her nervous, she shrugged off that poor start to win in style.

He has won the last four men’s singles titles, and one more this year would set him up to eclipse even more names in the record book.
