What makes the Selzer survey so important is that it’s been accurate in an era when other pollsters have struggled. This Selzer poll could also be an outlier, and much could change between now and Election Day. CNN —One of the best pollsters in America recently came out with its latest survey, and it’s good news for Kamala Harris. That result fell well short of the lead he had in preelection state polling. The fact that the Selzer poll is indicating a similar shift in Harris’ favor in Iowa makes me think the Wisconsin polls may be on to something. This Selzer poll could also be an outlier, and much could change between now and Election Day. The bottom line: You’d much rather have the Selzer poll in your corner than not.

MEXICO CITY, April 5 (Reuters) - Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Wednesday said he does not agree with the criminal charges brought against former U.S. President Donald Trump. "Supposedly legal issues should not be used for electoral, political purposes," Lopez Obrador told a regular news conference. Trump, the first sitting or former U.S. president to face criminal charges, pleaded not guilty. "It should be the people who decide," said Lopez Obrador, who said he could not say whether Trump was guilty or not. Lopez Obrador went on to lose the 2006 and 2012 presidential election - results he did not accept, alleging massive voter fraud.

Facebook and Instagram are key vehicles for reaching voters and fundraising and could give a boost to Trump, who will make another run for the presidency in 2024. Trump had 23 million followers on Instagram and 34 million on Facebook as of Feb. 9. Trump founded his own social media platform called Truth Social in late 2021, which he relied on to communicate with supporters during his ban from Twitter and Meta. In a blog post, Meta said it updated its protocols on moderating public figures during times of civil unrest.

Google -owned YouTube will allow former President Donald Trump's account to post new videos as of Friday, lifting restrictions put in place following the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. In 2021, then-YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said Trump's restrictions would be lifted when it believed the risk of real-world violence had subsided. The account was not terminated from the site, but could not upload new videos under the restrictions. The company also noted that Trump's posts on YouTube tend to differ from those on other platforms, often including reuploads from news networks. As of Friday, Trump's YouTube account has more than 2.6 million subscribers.

LONDON, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Twelve newly commissioned pieces of music will play at the coronation of Britain's King Charles at Westminster Abbey this May, including Greek Orthodox music, Buckingham Palace said, with the 18th century "Zadok the Priest" also to be featured. Six orchestral commissions, five choral commissions and one organ commission have been composed for the occasion, the palace said on Saturday, including a new Coronation Anthem by musical theatre impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber. Music by Elgar, Parry, and Williams were also performed at the crowning of Charles's late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 1953. Handel's coronation anthem "Zadok the Priest," which was composed for the coronation of King George II in 1727, will be played at the ceremony, the palace said. I hope my anthem reflects this joyful occasion," composer Lloyd Webber said of his coronation anthem in the statement.
