During the team’s 104-91 defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, the Celtics became the first team in NBA history to shoot zero free throws in a game. To make matters even more bizarre, the Bucks only shot two, meaning the two teams set a new record for the fewest total free throws shot during an NBA game. The Bucks also committed just four fouls all game, the fewest in NBA history. I didn’t look at the minutes and then I said: ‘Wow, two free throws for a basketball game. He had received the initial technical foul in the first quarter for using profanity towards the referees. “And he was ejected from the game, per rule, because two unsportsmanlike technical fouls, you are ejected from the game.”The official National Basketball Association (NBA) rulebook says: “If a player blatantly taunts an opponent, a technical foul shall be assessed.
