THE HAGUE (AP) — Dutch music producer DJ Tiësto has withdrawn from performing at Sunday's Super Bowl due to an undisclosed family matter. “It was a tough decision to miss the game, but family always comes first,” the 55-year-old wrote on X. The Grammy-winning musician was selected as the first ever in-game DJ, slotted to warm up the crowd before kickoff and throughout the game. He previously performed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. American DJ Ryan Raddon, better known as Kaskade, will replace Tiësto during Sunday’s game.

The models cut through the centre of the sprawling space of the Grand Palais Ephemere exhibit hall in central Paris, parading tweed skirt sets with uneven hems, patchwork ensembles and lightweight dresses that trailed down in the back. The show took place on the last day of Paris Fashion Week, which has drawn crowds of industry press and celebrities to the French capital, topping off a season of runway presentations that also took place in New York, London and Milan. Silicon Valley Bank marketed itself to startups, which may have leaned more heavily on it for financial guidance in the absence of an in-house chief financial officer. When Kevin Lee on the morning of March 9 first heard that Silicon Valley Bank could be in trouble, the 32-year-old co-founder of Immi instant ramen frantically called his partner. “I’m concerned there will be a bank run,” Mr. Lee said he told Kevin Chanthasiriphan , 34, who soon after wired their entire $15 million in capital out of SVB and into fintech provider Brex Inc. where they also had a business account. Messrs. Lee and Chanthasiriphan, who call themselves the “the Kevins,” launched Immi three years ago, reinventing ramen as a low-carb, high-protein and fully plant-based instant food. Just a week before the run on SVB, the Kevins announced a $10 million series A funding that included a bevy of celebrity investors such as tennis player Naomi Osaka , R&B singer Usher and speedskater Apolo Ohno , and were poised for a period of rapid growth with revenue up sixfold last year.

Kim Kardashian was all set to take on Las Vegas for her 42nd birthday over the weekend, but unfortunately it didn’t happen. After a birthday dinner, she headed to the airport where a pair of Vegas showgirls offered a hint as to where she was headed on her sister Kylie Jenner’s private jet. “For the record… We did fly to Vegas and tried to land twice at two different airports,” she wrote in an Instagram story. On Sunday Kardashian shared a video of Usher wishing her happy birthday, saying that he “hated” that they didn’t make it and welcoming her with “open arms” the next time she wants to attend. Private jets belonging to celebs, including Jenner’s, have recently come under criticism by many for contributing to the climate crisis.
