Michael Moritz, one of Silicon Valley's best-known investors, is leaving Sequoia Capital.
Moritz has spent almost 38 years at the firm and led investments into the likes of Google and PayPal.
He will now focus on Sequoia's wealth management unit, The New York Times' DealBook reported.
Michael Moritz, one of Silicon Valley's best-known investors, is leaving Sequoia Capital after nearly four decades at the firm, The New York Times reported on Wednesday.
DealBook reported that Moritz would continue to represent the firm at a handful of companies but would be replaced on the boards over time.
