Two men have been charged in Boston federal court in connection with a fatal drone strike in Jordan that killed three U.S. service members and injured dozens earlier this year. Abedini was further charged with providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization — the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The men allegedly conspired to evade U.S. sanctions and supply the Iranian government with a type of drone navigation technology used in the Jan. 28 drone attack at the Tower 22 base in Jordan, a U.S. military outpost, prosecutors said. The drone, launched by IRGC-backed militants, made impact near a shelter where some troops were sleeping and killed three U.S. service members. The two men allegedly conspired to procure goods and technology from Sadeghi’s place of work and exported them and supplied them to Iran to Abedini’s Iranian company SDRA.

And the US government is sending drone detection and tracking systems to two military facilities in New Jersey, sources told CNN Monday. The possible drone sightings, which started in November in New Jersey, have caused anxiety and concern and led to pressure on federal agencies to provide more information. The FAA also told CNN it has received multiple laser reports from pilots in airspace spanning New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Federal officials have so far downplayed many of the reported sightings, saying they are likely small airplanes or other manned aircraft. Gregory McNeal, a drone expert, told CNN that growing distrust in government communication is fueling demands for greater transparency and accountability from federal officials. Republican Assemblyman Paul Kanitra of New Jersey told CNN’s Sara Sidner Friday there had been drone sightings every night since then. Kanitra said federal officials were losing trust with the American people because several of the drone reports have come from places like military facilities, but federal officials have been dismissive. An FBI official on Saturday noted some drone sightings reported to tip lines were matched to similar flight approach patterns from nearby airports.

An 80-year-old woman died one month after her Sleep Number Bed suddenly moved without warning and trapped her against a wall for two days last year, a new lawsuit alleges. Walker purchased the Sleep Number Bed in Brentwood, Missouri, on Oct. 19, 2014, and it had a 25-year warranty. “The Sleep Number Bed was defective and unreasonably dangerous in its design and lack of warning.”Moan is suing Sleep Number and Leggett & Platt Inc. alleging negligence, wrongful death, strict liability and breach of warranty. The suit seeks compensation for Walker's death, suffering and injuries, related medical bills and "for the loss of her mother’s society." Ukraine's navy has revealed a fresh paint job on some of its vessels, which appear to have adopted a World War I-era tactic of using dazzle camouflage. The Ukrainian navy shared the images on social media on Thursday, showing versions of the paintwork. The boats were pictured taking part in a demonstration for naval experts from Denmark, which is cooperating with Ukraine on various naval issues, Ukraine's navy said. Dazzle camouflage first emerged in World War I as a means to confuse enemy submarines and reduce their ability to effectively aim torpedoes. Ukraine's navy has no large ships on active duty and consists mainly of small vessels, like those seen in the recent images.
