CNN —The Buffalo Bills announced on Tuesday that they finalized a trade for wide receiver Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns, strengthening their offense for the rest of the season. The Bills received Cooper and a 2025 sixth-round draft pick with a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 seventh-round pick heading to Cleveland in exchange. The 30-year-old is a five-time Pro Bowl selection and has 9,736 receiving yards and 62 touchdowns in his career. He has had six seasons with more than 1,000 yards receiving, including his last two full seasons in 2022 and 2023. CNN —Neuroscientist Chris Nowinski has said he wants the NFL to investigate the apparent head injury suffered by Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen during Sunday’s defeat to the Houston Texans. Allen’s head struck the turf in the fourth quarter after being tackled and lay motionless before being rolled over by his teammates. The QB came off the field and was directed to the sideline medical tent, where doctors assess players’ injuries. After emerging from the blue tent, Allen appeared to be offered smelling salts, which make players feel more alert before going onto the field. Allen said in his postgame press conference that he “felt good enough to go back into the game” after the incident.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin's miraculous comeback reached another milestone Monday as he grabbed his first career interception. Hamlin is in his fourth season with Buffalo, but it’s his first season as a starting safety. He earned the spot in training camp after the Bills parted ways with their previous starting safeties in the offseason. Hamlin’s first career interception came 20 months after his near-fatal injury against the Cincinnati Bengals, which was also a "Monday Night Football" game. It’s another thing to come back off of what he came back off of, right?” Bills coach Sean McDermott said before the team’s season opener.

Still, there's plenty of respect between the Baltimore coach and his counterpart this weekend: Kansas City's Andy Reid. This is Harbaugh's fourth AFC championship game with Baltimore and Reid's sixth in a row with Kansas City. Reid leads their head-to-head series 5-2 since he and Harbaugh went their separate ways during the former's tenure at the helm of the Philadelphia Eagles. "He was a great special teams coach, a great secondary coach and he’s been a great head coach. Reid also reached four NFC title games in a row in Philadelphia with Harbaugh on his staff.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills know the feeling all too well. But the Bills fell short of their ultimate goal Sunday night with a 27-24 loss in the divisional round — again — and against the Kansas City Chiefs — again. Tyler Bass missed a 44-yard field goal attempt with 1:43 left, and the Chiefs ran out the clock from there.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Mother Nature might not be through complicating the Buffalo Bills’ playoff schedule, leaving coach Sean McDermott assessing his options on Tuesday. McDermott said the team, for now, is still scheduled to practice on Wednesday and Thursday, while monitoring a forecast that projects a lake-effect storm dumping nearly 2 feet of snow on the Buffalo region. It’s too early to determine whether officials would impose a travel ban, which would potentially prevent Bills players from driving to their facility. The Bills are also dealing with a rash of injuries, with at least nine players’ status uncertain. Our team’s been resilient, and our players have done a phenomenal job of stepping up when someone has gone down,” he added.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills pass rusher Shaq Lawson apologized Monday for shoving a Philadelphia Eagles fan behind the team’s bench after alleging the person was making threatening remarks about players and their families. Lawson said the fan began heckling players before the game began, and was allowed to stay at his seat after the Bills asked stadium security officials to have the person removed. “Eventually, our emotions boiled over and I made a mistake,” Lawson wrote. "What I’m aware of is that people were asked to have the fan removed and nothing was done,” McDermott said. It’s just unfortunate overall that that would be taking place during a game.”___AP Sports Writer Dan Gelston in Philadelphia contributed.

Consider one in the fourth quarter, when Hurts rolled to his left and almost seemed out of options. “He made a lot of really clutch plays in that second half,” Philadelphia coach Nick Sirianni said. He zipped into the end zone from 12 yards out with 2:37 left in overtime, and the Eagles beat the Buffalo Bills 37-34 on a cold, rainy Sunday. “He's been clutch for us, clutch for this city and clutch for this team for the last three years now. Hurts played a miserable first half, throwing for 33 yards while the Eagles had 99 yards overall.

CNN —The Denver Broncos earned a dramatic 24-22 victory over the error-prone Buffalo Bills on Monday, after Wil Lutz converted a last-minute, retaken field goal. At the end of the day, we didn’t execute it, so it’s inexcusable,” the visibly frustrated Buffalo Bills coach, Sean McDermott, told reporters after the game. Wil Lutz of the Denver Broncos kicks the game-winning field goal against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium on November 13. While the night may be remembered for the Bills’ error-strewn display, Courtland Sutton’s remarkable second quarter touchdown for Denver will also live long in the memory. Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin makes a tackle in the fourth quarter of the game.

Getting a second chance after missing wide right from 41 yards thanks to Buffalo being flagged for too many players, Lutz connected on a 36-yard field goal attempt as time expired to secure a 24-22 win over the sloppy, turnover-prone Bills on Monday night. The Broncos (4-5) have won three straight and four of six since a 70-20 loss at Miami. Lutz made four field goals and Javonte Williams scored on a 3-yard run. Allen’s second interception came in the final minute of the first half, and on the first play from scrimmage after Lutz hit a 49-yard field goal to put Denver up 12-8. Allen fluttered a pass up the left sideline that was easily intercepted by Fabian Moreau, which led to Lutz making a 40-yard field goal to close the half.

CINCINNATI (AP) — The Cincinnati Bengals showed a national TV audience on Sunday night they are still serious AFC playoff contenders. The latest was a 24-18 victory over the Buffalo Bills in a rematch of a divisional playoff game from last season. Joe Burrow threw for a season-high 348 yards and two touchdowns, and Cincinnati's defense forced two turnovers and held off the Bills. The subsequent Bengals drive ate up 5:20 and a 20-yard field goal by Evan McPherson extended Cincinnati's lead to 24-10. Aided by a roughing the passer call on the Bills' Tim Settle, Burrow put together another extended drive.

The Bills said Harris does have movement in his arms and legs. Harris flashed a thumbs up sign with his left hand as he was being loaded into the ambulance. The game was delayed for about five minutes while players from both teams gathered around him on the field. Bills players watched with concerned looks on their faces with lingering memories of Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin's near-death experience in January after making what appeared to be a routine tackle. A cheer went up when Harris raised his thumb before being loaded into the ambulance.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London CNN —On an unseasonably warm autumnal morning in East London, Mary Beth Schumen and her husband have made an early start to their Sunday. Yet on London’s underground, the Schumens are not the only ones in Bills blue. “It’s another feeling to be live in the stadium,” he tells CNN Sport in anticipation of his third London-based NFL game. Fireworks light up the sky before the start of the second international NFL game of the 2023 season. Ultimately, it was back-to-back London wins for the Jaguars who are now, like the Bills, 3-2 for the season.

WARE, England (AP) — Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller says it's a “safe bet” that he'll make his season debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Miller, who sustained a knee injury last November, said Friday there's a “94 1/2 percent” likelihood of him suiting up at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. “I am excited to play American football in front this crowd,” said Miller, the NFL’s active leader in sacks. He tore a ligament and sustained cartilage damage in his right knee during a win at Detroit last Thanksgiving Day. Under NFL rules, Miller opened a three-week window in which he’s allowed to practice before he’s required to be activated or returned to the injured list.

One of Sean McDermott’s first jobs in football wasn’t as an assistant coach. He was the assistant to the head coach. But when the team hired Andy Reid in 1999 it didn’t take him long to notice this unusually bright and hardworking gopher in the team’s front office. Reid thought McDermott should work directly for him. “I asked them if I could steal him,” Reid says.

Hamlin, 24, who was transferred to a Buffalo hospital on Monday after a week at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, went through a comprehensive medical evaluation and series of cardiac, neurological and vascular testing on Tuesday, doctors said. McDermott also said the Bills would leave it up to Hamlin as to when he returns to the team's facility. NFL teams also showed their support for the second-year NFL player.

Doctors at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) where Hamlin spent the last week said he traveled well by air and will continue to be monitored by a care team in Buffalo. "I can confirm he is doing well and this is the beginning of the next stage of his recovery. Happy to be back in Buffalo," Hamlin wrote on Twitter. While Hamlin surprised team mates on a video call last Friday and again after Sunday's game, Bills head coach Sean McDermott told reporters that having him back in Buffalo was an added boost for the players.

Damar Hamlin, the 24-year-old Bills safety who went into cardiac arrest during Buffalo's game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night, will be at the forefront of hearts and minds. Good news came Thursday when Buffalo announced that Hamlin has shown "remarkable improvement" and "appears to be neurologically intact" despite remaining in critical condition. Every team across the league has been offering their support, too, and the Patriots (8-8) were no exception. McDermott said Thursday that Mario Hamlin, Damar's father, told Bills players to focus on Sunday's regular-season finale because it is what Damar Hamlin would want. "They got several good players, but (Josh) Allen by himself is a tough matchup for any player, any defense."
