SkyWest shares can continue their ascent as pilot hiring becomes less challenging, Raymond James said.
Analyst Savanthi Syth upgraded the regional airline to outperform from market perform with a price target at $55.
SKYW YTD mountain SkyWest, year to date Pilot attrition trends have been improving for the Utah-based airline since the first quarter of this year.
That can further help mitigate the challenge of finding enough captains as target levels are reset in the next 12 to 18 months, she added.
However, the airline could see upside as captain levels improve, the chart business expands or from market share gains tied to operational performance.
