I was working on my doctorate in business administration, raising my 3- and 5-year-old kids, and working part-time. Mornings were a panic as I tried to get the kids fed, dressed, and off to school with a healthy lunch. Once the kids were asleep, I had from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. to clean up the dinner dishes, make lunches, tidy the house, do laundry, and do my doctoral work.
