1 Texas Longhorns 30-15 in Austin on Saturday evening as Bulldogs running back Trevor Etienne ran for three touchdowns in a game marred by Texas fans throwing trash on the field. Texas fans expressed their frustration with the call by throwing water bottles and other trash onto the field at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, which were cleared up by cheerleaders and other team staff. Fans threw trash onto the field during the game. Bulldogs running back Trevor Etienne ran for three touchdowns during the game. “Unfortunately we didn’t play our best football tonight but we were still competitive,” Texas coach Steve Sarkisian told reporters afterward.

Texas announced the contract extension through the 2030 season last month but had not released financial details. The extension includes $100,000 annual raises that will push Sarkisian's guaranteed salary to $10.9 million by the final year.
