A boss who gives you random tasks at short notice can add to already packed to-do lists.
Having said that, it's wise to make the boss feel heard.
"Then we quickly realize: Even if the boss has 10 good ideas every day, it doesn't mean they want them all implemented by tomorrow," Rach said.
"A boss with many ideas sets a good example in this regard," Remdisch said.
Ideally, it is a collaborative effort where employees also contribute their suggestions, and ideas build upon each other.
