Beyoncé is expected to perform at the halftime show for the Christmas Day matchup between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens, which will be streaming live on Netflix. The streaming service announced the game's halftime performance in a statement Sunday. The album included contributions from artists including Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone and Shaboozey, among others. More than 60 million households watched the much-hyped boxing match between 58-year-old retired boxing legend Mike Tyson and the far-younger Jake Paul on Friday night, Netflix said. Netflix on social media acknowledged the problems, which were lampooned by X users who posted heavily pixelated videos purported to be the match. "The boxing mega-event dominated social media, shattered records, and even had our buffering systems on the ropes," the company wrote on X Saturday. There were around 65 million concurrent streams at the peak of the Tyson-Paul fight, which was held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Netflix said said in a statement Saturday. Around 50 million households watched the fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, the co-main event that directly preceded the fight between Tyson and Paul.

CNN —Hawaii’s most controversial nature spot has once again become a center of concern, with 14 people recently arrested for accessing the Haiku Stairs on the island of Oahu according to officials. Eight of the 14 were arrested on September 3, although it’s not clear if they were hiking together. The Haiku Stairs, sometimes called the “stairway to heaven,” were closed to the public in 1987. In 2021, the Honolulu City Council voted to remove the Haiku Stairs. A local group called Friends of the Haiku Stairs is pushing back against the stairs’ removal, arguing that the $2.5 million process is too expensive.
