The Los Angeles Rams will place wide receiver Puka Nacua on injured reserve with a right knee injury, head coach Sean McVay said Monday. Nacua, a second-year receiver, will miss at least four weeks before he is eligible to return. He was injured during the Rams’ 26-20 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday. It is an aggravation of an injury Nacua had during the offseason, ESPN reported. Nacua joins three offensive linemen and defensive back Cobie Durant as Rams on the injury report after Week 1.

The Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott have agreed to a four-year, $240 million contract that will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history, according to multiple reports. The long, drawn-out negotiation ended with him earning the biggest contract in league history, valued at $60 million a season. Last season, Prescott set career highs in completions (410) and touchdowns (36), throwing for 4,516 yards with only nine interceptions. He led Dallas to a 12-5 record, but the Cowboys lost at home in the first round of the playoffs to the Green Bay Packers. Prescott is the Cowboys second key offensive player to sign a new contract after extended negotiations this offseason, joining his top receiver, CeeDee Lamb.
