Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo was dismissed Thursday by the Red Bull Racing junior team effectively immediately, ending his second stint in the sport with an unusual mid-season departure. CNN —British driver Lando Norris recorded a comfortable victory at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, putting a dent into Max Verstappen’s lead atop the drivers’ world championship. It was another excellent race for McLaren, following a victory for Norris’ teammate Oscar Piastri in Azerbaijan last week. Visa has taken over the title sponsorship of Red Bull's second team, which has been called Scuderia AlphaTauri since 2020 when Red Bull put its fashion label on its two junior cars. The team said Wednesday it will be called Visa Cash App RB F1 Team when Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda start the season.
