Thousands of Oasis tickets on the secondary market will reportedly be relisted on Ticketmaster at face value, according to the BBC. A gathering in North Carolina last year resulted in 10 probable cases of a parasitic infection from undercooked bear meat, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Of the 34 people surveyed who attended the gathering, 65 percent reported eating bear meat. On November 29, 2023, the North Carolina Division of Public Health was alerted to a suspected case of trichinellosis in western North Carolina, according to the CDC. Trichinellosis caused by eating undercooked bear meat, although rare, is not unheard of in the U.S.An outbreak occurred in July 2022 during a nine-person family reunion in South Dakota after people ate kebabs made of bear meat. Most were linked to bear meat.

“Love Island USA” personality Hannah Smith was arrested and accused of threatening to kill a police officer on Sept. 30 in Atlanta, according to an incident report from the Cobb County Police Department. According to the incident report, Smith was escorted out of the concert venue by security for allegedly yelling and screaming. While being escorted out, Smith allegedly punched a member of emergency medical services who was assisting, according to a Cobb County officer supervising the situation. On the way to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Adult Detention Center, Smith allegedly threatened to kill the officer and the officer's sister. Smith was placed in custody and charged with two felonies — terroristic threats and obstruction or hindering an officer, according to police.
